Portugal Low Cost

Starting from April 1st, 2008, the British market will gain another “low cost” route to the Algarve. This time from Ryanair.

The Ryanair new London Stansted to Faro route will be fly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

And for promotional purposes the inauguration flights will cost 29,99 €.

Aer Arann, a regional Irish company that is sometimes associated with the low-cost sector will start on the 1st of May 2008 their flights to Faro (FAO)

For now the routes are from Galway (GWY) and Waterford (WAT) to Faro.

Some new opportunities Irish tourists to enjoy Algarve.

Starting at the 22nd April 2008 easyJet will have a new route from Glasgow (GLA) to Faro (FAO) and round trip.

Ryanair opens new routes to Birmingham, International (BHX) to Porto, Francisco Sá Carneiro (OPO).

It will start in 20th of June 2008 with flights on Mondays and Fridays.
